How to Make a Ruffle Fabric Flower

what you need:

long piece of fabric (mine's around 16 x 1 inches)
scissors
needle and matching thread
glue ( if you're more a sticker than a sewer)
thread your needle and begin by making a running stitch
through the middle of your fabric strip

stitch all the way to the end, but don't cut your thread!
fold your strip in half
and pull the loose thread to gather your fabric
it should look all wiggly like this =)
once your happy, secure your thread & cut.

then begin rolling your fabric

As you go, you can either Stitch or Stick the layers into place =)

both work well!

turn your wiggly roll over & poof!

Ruffle flower (^__^)

Hope you had fun and learned something new =D

    1. Hey there! hmm i've never tried it with ribbon, but it would look lovely =D You could try ironing the ribbon in half, using a low heat setting or under a cloth?

i hope that helps =) let me know how you get on!
